Idea & Origin
The last song on the album was also the last song written, but at the same time it forms the origin of the Kings of Dark Desires. In a way, it’s a homage to the band’s beginnings, which is most obviously expressed in the demo-like intro, which is actually a very old recording from the very first session. This was recorded in 2004 in an ice-cold, abandoned rehearsal room. 20 years later, as is the subtitle of this song, this demo becomes the nucleus of a completely new song, which at least takes up the original idea and the riffing from the demo. This song brings the entire album full circle from the original idea to the grand finale of the album. Eternal Victory!
If you listen closely, you will notice that the vocals in this song have a slightly different timbre. On the one hand a homage to Abbath (Immortal) and on the other hand perhaps a glimpse of what might come next?
The female vocals in this song come from Andrea, to whom we are forever indebted and who also opened the doors to the rehearsal room for us where the entire album was created. Hail to Andrea!
Storyline
Twenty years after the beginning of their fight, the KINGS OF DARK DESIRES celebrate in the song ETERNAL VICTORY and boast of their deeds and their triumphant victory.
