Idea & Origin
The song is characterized by restlessness and despair. As the title suggests, troubling feelings are emphasized and a fierce battle with the inner self is therefore also manifested in the music. The bass intro already announces something ominous and quickly sums up the basic direction of the song. The punk-tinged verse section bursts into the solemn chorus, which in turn is replaced by complete frenzy and the desperate screams of war in your own head. The contrastingly calm ending can be seen on the one hand as resignation at the end of the fight or as a hopeful light at the end of the dark tunnel. Decide for yourself what applies to you!
Storyline
With a touch of irony, the dark hero in WAR IN YOUR HEAD realizes that the evil in him must have arisen from a mixture of brooding and alcohol consumption.
Lyrics
War In Your Head
There is a war, in your head
which is evil, not so bad
the evil is you, who might be true
who might be real and ready to kill
You might think, this is true
You might think, this is real
You drink too much and this is true
You think too much, and this is real
Evil is coming to get you
Evil will catch you
and your inner feelings, will arise
to the mountain of truth
where you belong
And one day, it will win
inner feelings will die now
And you will live, the lie
The normal life has got you
You might think, this is true
You might think, this is real
You drink too much and this is true
You think too much, and this is real
Evil is coming to get you
Evil will catch you
and your inner feelings, will arise
to the mountain of truth
where you belong
